You ask, we write. We know what the best speech is, the first sentence that moves the audience.
What makes a good speech?
The speech needs to be sincere, natural, and informative. Think about it. When do you want to believe what someone says to you? Trust is complicated, but the first thing we need to do is not create mistrust. The human heart is more likely to believe something genuine, a novel, or a movie, no matter how good, when we realize it's fake, you don't think it. The same is true of public speaking. When you know that someone is trying so hard to convince you, you are naturally alert and resistant. We would rather believe a less perfect but sincere person than a complete and flawless liar.
